About this service.
eSpaces is a web-based collaboration platform. Open to all Australian researchers.
Collaborate with your colleagues over research, data files, documents, and more: anyone in Australian research community create an eSpace and get started immediately. Choose to share your content with the world or just select people and build rich, informative views to your activities and projects.
eSpaces has been designed as an open platform, freely available for use by the Australian research community. In addition to eSpaces being hosted as an online service, all underlying software is available as an Open Source project. This means that you can create an individual instance or customised version of eSpaces for your own project, team, University, or other grouping. If you're keen to help to develop this platform, we'd encourage you to join us and make it better for everyone.
This platform has been developed by the eResearch Centre at James Cook University (JCU), and is supported by the Queensland Cyber Infrastructure Foundation (QCIF).
